Abi Morris - Data-Driven Design: Harnessing Analytics for Effective Product Training
Many businesses find it challenging to quantify the effectiveness of training on their products. During this presentation, I will discuss how to improve the effectiveness of product-based training using metrics as well as how to quantify the business value.
Kristine Coco - Mastering the Art of Interviewing for Soft Skills
Kristine Coco is a startup operations expert who spent 10 years in Silicon Valley scaling startups. She’s interviewed hundreds of people for growing teams, and has learned the hard way that interviewing for technical skills is only half the equation in finding great teammates. In this talk, Kristine will break down how to interview for those harder-to-evaluate skills like communication, collaboration, and decision making that can make-or-break someone’s ability to work in a team.

ExploreTech Toronto is about exploring and celebrating diversity in the tech industry - in the technology we use, the roles and people. You will get a chance to hear from a variety of speakers who are working on interesting technical projects.
Our focus is in creating technical speaking opportunities for new speakers in Toronto’s technology community and to help achieve true gender balance within our local tech leadership. Our events will showcase at least 50% female speakers.
Come join us for some food, mingling & listen to some interesting talks!
[We run events focused on learning, sharing and growing in tech and want to create a comfortable environment for our members. As such, we ask that recruiters respect our members and our venue sponsors.]
See you soon.
