Fun Dance Event for January 4th

Hi Ian and gang,

I'm a new member, and wanted to contact you because I heard a great dance band play last Thursday. They play soul, Motown, classic rock music. It was terrific fun, with a great groove, and humor. Very cool.

And apparently the band is putting on a special "Get your groove-on for 2014!" to start the year off with a fun, dancing night on January 4th, at the Fairview Pub in Vancouver, 898 west broadway. (9:00 PM to closing)

They said there's going to be a reduced door charge (normally $10.00, but only $5.00 for members of MEETUP dance and social clubs) and may even be a drink special for Meetup members.

So, I thought it might be something the members would enjoy.
