2367, FEH3 Invades the 22nd GQ in Tidewater
As many of you all know, Gentlemen's Quarterly (GQ) is our local hash that thinks running 10+ miles is fun. Since they are hashing on our normal time we will be going down to Tidewater to join them in this absurd quarterly event. GQ is not a sexist kennel and you are also not required to run the whole thing. Though no official details have been shared, I know there are runner and walker splits, and you can even bash (bicycle hash) this trail; I know I will be. Lastly, I recommend carpooling to start, and bringing sleeping bags and clothes or bring a DD. Be smart don't drive drunk. Now for the details about the 22nd Gentleman's Quarterly Gather: 2:00 PM Start: 2:30 PM Hares: Shoots and Splatters & Dos Tacos Here are the details for trail: - If you don't think you can hang on foot, bring your bike and bash trail with CB2H2; Safety first, helmets encouraged -$10 Hash for craft beer, scotch, and hors d'oeuvres - Gentlemen drink in moderation - Bring cash and ID on trail, as it is pay as you go at the bars(but the hash might buy a round or two where money allows) - Expect at least 8 to 12 miles and 3+ beer checks could be more or less - It's not a theme hash but you can dress up or down (But wear something that'll get you in a bar) - Bring gentlemanly attire for circle, but run in what you like - The hash departs each bar five minutes after the hares. What we're about

Public Group

We are the oldest continuously running hash in the United States. We meet every other Saturday at 3:00pm, socialize a bit, and then go running/walking along a trail set by a member (the hare). Our trails wind through the wilds of the beautiful Hampton Roads Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, York County), involve at least 1 beer check (for those 21 and older), and end with a festive, baudy and welcoming gathering (the circle). It's a fun way to get in a bit of exercise with your socializing. We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities. Many of our trails are easily run/walkable with a dog or stroller. Children under the age of 18 are not recommended, we have family specific hashes once a month that children are able to attend.
