What we're about

We started as a local chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and encourage you to join FFRF, too, at ffrf.org. As of January 16, 2020, we are no longer a chapter of FFRF, but if you would like to start a local chapter, please contact FFRF. Our purpose is to keep state and church separate and to educate the public about the views of non-theists. There can be no freedom of religion unless there is freedom from religion in government policy - freedom from myth and superstition.

We might be fallen-away Catholics or other Christians, born atheists or agnostics, self-discovered free-thinkers, or doubting New-Agers. We welcome diversity, especially the participation of women, whose full worth and rights have been denied by religions throughout history. See our other "pages," too.

Help us fight the creepy creeping theocracy in our state and across the nation. Betsy DeVos (the voucher and prayer pusher) and others in government are out to ruin secular public education. Others in the "Trump/Pence Church" want to spread Christian privilege while opposing evolution, good science, reproductive choice, and civil rights. Our chapter stands in opposition to these threats to our secular state and nation.

When we were a chapter, we were supported by many generous donations at these levels:

A: Supporter Level for a $250 donation.
