Our Organization: Foreign Links Around the Globe (FLAG), a U.S.-based nonprofit international student exchange organization. Providing high quality international exchange experiences that transform the lives of high school students, host families and communities is FLAG’s mission and a passion for those who are part of the FLAG team.

What we do: FLAG helps to promote global diplomacy through student exchange relations. We place and support international exchange students in host families throughout the United States! Each student arrives to study in a local high school for one academic school year. During that time they are hosted by a local family within their community.

Why join us?
Curious to learn about a new culture!
Educate your family members or children about different areas of the world
Promotion of global diplomacy and understanding
Wanting to make a difference within your community and in the life of another youth
Thought about becoming a host family for an international exchange student
Have hosted before and are interested in hosting again

What to expect at our meetups?
A member of FLAG will be hosting the meetup - and we will search for different areas to host these meetups. If you're interested in having us come to your community, please reach out to the group organizer, Stephy.

We have some flyers to pass out to attendees, in addition to discussion about hosting a student through FLAG. We take a no pressure, information only approach.

It is a great time to ask questions about the experience and learn more about what is available.

What if I cannot host, but I know someone who does - can I still attend?

YES! Even if you cannot host, but you know someone who does please feel free to attend our meeting or connect with the group organizer and we can talk more about this chance.
