Our group is focused on the basics of Wholesaling Real Estate. We practice in the SF Bay Area. It's simple and we intend to keep it that way!

We're also focused on establishing deep connectedness with EVERYONE we work with!

Wholesaling is a method within Real Estate Investing where an investor (you) is searching for properties at a deeply discounted price with the goal to put the rights to those properties (Title) under contract. From that point on, you have options. Those may include passing the deal onto another investor/developer for a fee (commonly referred to as a Wholesale Flip for a Finders Fee - the focus of this group) or you may decide to rehabilitate the property and live in it or list it back on the market for a profit.

There are several tools and strategies a 'Wholesaler' needs to be successful. Not only tools, but connections to several different trades and business owners to complete the process of a Wholesale Flip, such as Real Estate Agents, Title/Escrow Companies, Traditional/Private/Hard Money Lenders, and others. Your network is truly your net worth when utilizing this strategy in Real Estate Investing. We encourage participation of these different trades and business owners because, simply, we need your services to be successful ‘Wholesalers’.

Two Key focuses in this Wholesaling 101 Group:

1. Create, Cultivate and Maintain a Win-Win-Win environment with everyone we work with. Real Estate Investing is a team sport, everyone has a position and when done well & together, everyone wins. The main benefactor - first and foremost - is the homeowner. Many times, to find a deeply discounted property, we're looking for distressed properties and/or distressed people (owners, landlords, heirs to estate, etc.) who have challenges with their properties or simply do not want to own/manage them anymore. They have financial challenges and it is our goal to bring solutions to help them win. Maintaining this focus and closing successfully on this task helps everyone else who is involved in the deal win as well.

2. Establish constant accountability. I’ve come to find that many who start Wholesaling or Real Estate Investing in general, tend to fall off after “trying” to operate this business after a short time. It takes consistency, hard work and determination. Without accountability, it is hard to stick with it. This group was created for you and I to come find other business owners to help us stay accountable to our investing goals. Whether you are a full-time employee or full-time investor, you need someone else to help you stay consistent. As the organizer, whether I come to see 1 other member or many join, I will maintain providing content, resources and my experiences to keep myself accountable to my goals.

About the Organizer

Ryan has lived in the Bay Area for over 6 years, coming from Chicago after completing his B.S. in Civil Engineering at Northwestern U to work in the Commercial Construction industry for roughly 5 years. He soon realized that industry was not for him and made changes, leaving his 9 to never ending job to pursue more engaging interests/vocations. Of those, Ryan has had a focus on Real Estate Investing for 2+ years and in the last year, has started Investing with a focus on Wholesaling where he plans to take the capital gained from that vehicle and move it to commercial Real Estate and other business pursuits. Ryan actively works with other Real Estate Investing groups in the East Bay area and is glad to share whatever resources he has found along the way to help you be successful in your investing endeavors.
