Sufi Friday - dinner, dance and performance all in one!

Happy New Year! Ready for some more FUN in 2013? What about having dinner in a nice restaurant this weekend, mingling with new friends while enjoying some amazing performance - jazz music, romantic songs, belly dance etc.? Sounds good? Here are more details for you:

My friend Barry Cohen, who is also our group member, a well-known singer in San Diego is going to perform at a new Persian restaurant this Friday night. Barry and the manager of the restaurant John, who is our group member as well, invite all of us for a Sufi Friday night!

Performance Show Time:

8-9pm: Jazz standards and romantic Spanish guitar played by Barry Cohen and Valerie Pierce - San Diego's most Charismatic Duo, lead singers of SD's best big band from 2002-2012.

9-9:30pm: Special belly dance performance.

9:30-10:30pm: Barry and Valarie play modern dance hits such as Lady Gaga's "Poker Face"; Lou Bega's "Mambo Number 5"; Rihanna's "We Found Love"; Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" and more.

10:30pm-close: DJ Yari spinning Persian and international dance music.

We will start our meetup at 7pm. Please look for me and the sign - "Fun in SD" on the tables. There is no cover for the night, but each guest requested purchase at least one menu item.
