In this 1-hour workshop, we will take a high-level dive in the mind of a Network Technician. We will get to the truth behind what happens in the digital world when no one is looking... .or so you think.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP?

This course is designed to enable those aspiring to enter the Information Technology (IT) field to learn what a day in the life of a computer technician would be like. By the end of this course, you will be familiar with how various types of network, device, and network maintenance is performed, and you will understand what the job outlook and market is in the IT industry.

In this comprehensive, 1-hour virtual workshop, we will cover everything you need to know about the world of Network Technicians.

ONCE THE WORKSHOP IS OVER, YOU WILL HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Basic functions of what it's like to be a Network technician.

• How to navigate through getting started in this industry

• Understand what it may take to learn IT

• Ask questions with an expert in the field.

In addition, you will be engaged to design a path that is right for you by learning about industry-standard certifications.

Your instructor, Andrew J Cichewicz, is one of the leading experts in cybersecurity, penetration testing, and network engineering field with over 15 years of experience. He truly knows what goes into getting started in the industry from the ground up!

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Little to no prior experience is required. This course is perfect for anybody who is passionate about developing their skills in the field of Networking. No prior training is required to take this course as we will start with the basics. We welcome anyone with a thirst for learning.

• Zoom access

• Web Browser: the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox

• Pen/Pad - for taking notes

Please sign in on time as well get started right at 4 PM

Arrive 5min before the event start time to ensure connectivity checks. The seminar will be open at 3:55 to check everyone's connectivity.

This class will run in English, but we will do individual assistance in Spanish as needed. All questions can be written in the chat and will be answered at our Q&A sesh at the end of the presentation.
