Fabulous Fun Female Friends 40's,50's and Beyond

We are doing this again!!! This was so much fun we have to do a repeat. Let's have a BBQ on the beach! This is a state beach, so there are fire pits and BBQ's! Alcohol is permitted as well. Please bring a dish to share and BYOB. Parking can be limited, so carpooling is suggested. Also, if the lot is full, don't give up. Just circle the entrance until you can enter. I will need someone to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Please bring firewood or duraflames as well. We went through alot of wood last time so please bring more this time. There are picnic tables, but beach chairs are recommended. *Note rain cancels event.

Join us for our spring charity event and Cinco de Mayo (celebrating on the 6th lol). For this charity event I am asking for donations of items that could fill a basket that would be auctioned off. For example: wine, wine glasses, candles, soaps lotions, gift cards, movie tickets, etc. Anything that would make a basket that people would want to bid on. I am helping a friend of mine whose son lost his leg due to a severe infection that invaded his entire body. This resulted in the amputation of his left leg from the knee down. In order to get a good prosthetic, the cost is going to range from $7,000-$10,000 which insurance does not cover. Our group has been so generous in the past, I felt like this would a good opportunity to help this family. If you have any baskets that you would like to donate in addition, that would be greatly appreciated. Cash donations are welcomed as well.
