I have watched little girls make friends and they make it look so easy. Three year old Chloe walks up to Lily and asks, "will you be my friend?" Lily looks at her and answers, "yes". They walk off to the playground hand in hand and they are maid-of-honor at each other's wedding twenty years later.
But, as you get older, change jobs a time or two, get married, get divorced or move across the country with your husband, making friends seems to get harder and more difficult each year. Just when you feel you won't ever have that best friend.....you find this group!!!!!!!
We don't care if you are married, divorced or single. Doesn't matter to us if you are a 23 year old (old soul) or a 70 year old (spring chicken), if you want to have great friends and laugh on a daily basis, this is the group that you want to join. We love life and want to have fun!!!
I have an awesome group of women helping me to host and I couldn't do this without them. We go to lunch, movies, brunch, happy hour, coffee, shopping, scavenger hunts, English tea parties, putt putt golf, berry picking, dinners, go-cart racing, zip lining, hiking/walking and mani/pedis. We do craft events, have evening and daytime book clubs, enjoy swimming parties and play lots of games. If it has dice, cards or dominoes, you can bet we're playing it.
We have Couples Night and Ladies Days. We go to Grease, Dirty Dancing and Michael Jackson sign-alongs and sing at the top of our lungs (even though we can't carry a tune) and we go to the salon, where we have a margarita while getting a pedicure.
Happy hour??? Do you know what we say about happy hours??? Why limit it to one hour???!!!! We'll go to dinner, just us girls or sometimes include the husbands. Any excuse for us to get together, we want to do it.
