What we’re about
Welcome to Fabs 40+! If you identify as a lesbian/gay woman 40+ who likes to be out and about in the DMV, enjoying concerts, museums, theatre, sports, movies, dancing, game nights, the arts, kayaking, hiking, wine tastings, festivals, and more, then you're in the right place! This group was formed in 2017 to organize activities and events for a diverse group of women. Since then, we’ve grown to number almost 2,000 fabulous women and have expanded to offer both in-person and online programming. We invite you – whether single or partnered – to socialize, network, make new friends, and help build our supportive and joyful community.
In that spirit, we ask potential new members to answer several questions and share a photo of themselves, to ensure the safety of the community. If, for some reason, you can’t post a photo publicly, please contact us privately at fabs40plusdmv@gmail.com
We also host a Facebook community, which we encourage you to join so you can keep atop group developments and share information that might be of interest to the community.
