What we’re about
Swingology performs Gypsy Jazz, aka “Hot Club Jazz,” and is best defined by the works of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli which was prominent in late 30s early 40s in Europe. It features generally up-tempo danceable rhythms with instrumentation including guitars, violin, upright bass, clarinet, and accordion.
Swingology has been hosting gypsy jam sessions throughout the winter of 2023 and will soon resume the farmers market scene in addition to private events.
