The mission of this group is to create an atmosphere of dedicated filmmakers, actors, and screenwriters who want to make films or tune their talents; whether it be writing or acting. In the film world, community and networking are essential for success. This Meetup will be designed to allow individuals to make connections, as well as provide a resource for script writing, editing, and practicing acting techniques. All skill levels are welcomed and all film enthusiasts are welcomed! Ideally, we would meet twice a month, each meet-up covering a different purpose. The first meeting we would go over scripts, plays, & any form of writing as cold readings by the actors. The order of the scripts reviewed would be set up on first come, first served basis. Try to bring your scripts in 10 page intervals so that we can get through everyone's writing. The second meeting of the month would be for discussion purposes, such as discussing film festivals, screenwriting contests, and auditions in the area. This time will also be dedicated to individuals who want to work on a project or share information. Of course both meetups are a great time to socialize and talk about the latest film news!
