Announcing a new Meetup for Fairfield County Board Games!

When: Friday, November 5,[masked]:30 PM

Where: MediFit

Be honest, you've been asking yourself that question.

Now that Disney World is behind me (so sad) and I've had a body part removed (what?), it would be nice to get back to some gaming. What do you say gang?

I've been lucky enough to have a couple of trusting game publishers send me review copies of their games. I would appreciate it if some of you could help me fulfill the requirement of actually playing and reviewing the games. :)

First up we've got Bubble Talk, which appears to be a simple party game where you match OUTRAGEOUS quotations to unsuspecting photographs. My kids enjoyed it even just as an activity. They were cracking themselves up. I'm willing to give it a shot. It might make a fine Holiday present for the non-gamers in your family.

Second, we've got CrossRoads at Darklion Pass which bills itself as a contender for the Holy Grail of game genres... the RPG-as-a-boardgame er... game. I've looked through the rules and although the game won't win any art awards, the rule set is interesting. This may be a game that we could actually get into. It takes a very unique approach to adventuring. I would really like to give it a play or two.

Maybe someone could bring along the new edition of Betrayal at House on the Hill? Hmmm?

So whaddaya say gang! Are ya with me?

See our About Us page to view a list of games that might be played. I'll be bringing a selection of games as usual. Certainly bring your own games if you've been wanting to try something in particular.

We meet in Norwalk at a corporate office with a few tables and access to a fridge, water, coffee, and a microwave. We are welcome to bring our own snacks and such, as long as we promise to be neat and clean.

Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. The exact meeting location is provided automatically to group members when you RSVP.

**NOTE** Be sure to check out our Files section for two detailed maps of exactly where to go and where to park. Hopefully they will help!
