Join Maryann and I for some fun. Dust off the rust and find your shoes with opening season of Nine holes of golf followed by a casual dinner at Local in SoNo. Oak Hills Course is picturesque, hilly and so much fun to play. If you walk it, it’s $25 for 9 holes at twilight rate. Burn those calories before our potentially carb filled dinner of burgers, sandwiches, salads and other delicious fare at Local in SoNo. Their full bar is reasonably priced.
Fine... Fresh... Simple. Thanks to John N for the recommendation and push to do this dinner. The Schoolhouse at Cannondale is nestled in the bucolic Village of Cannondale in Wilton. With awards from both Open Table and the Best of the Goldcoast, the changing-daily menu is full of local and fresh ingredients. They support sustainable farms in Connecticut and buy only all natural meats. We will visit on a Thursday when they offer a Prixe Fixe at $48 or $75 with wine pairings.

We had a great time at Chez Vous in Stamford and it reminded us of Bistro Versailles in Greenwich. It's likely been 3 years since our first visit. Let's give this contemporary French Bistro another try! They have a full menu plus a $35 prixe fix (appetizer/entree/dessert) menu option.
Remember to sit next to someone who likes to share and you'll have tried twice the dishes by night's end! Feel free to pop into the bakery for some patisserie treats too!
