I've been meditating for 27 years. I have participated in 10 day silent meditations, as well as multi-day retreats.
I feel that taking the time to simply be is so very important. Be with your thoughts, your feelings, your body. Be with you. Hence this group is about quiescence and simply being in meditation, whether seated, walking or gently moving. There is so much chaos in our world, and in order to create balance, it's helpful to have a daily practice. These meetups are an opportunity to learn tools, or sit in silence with others so that you will be able to maintain your center of peace as you walk through life.
