What we're about

The Fairfield Rock Climbing Group is an active community of local climbers (ages 18+). We meet several times each week at Rock Climb Fairfield (http://rockclimbfairfield.com) to climb and socialize in a fun, supportive environment.

No experience necessary. The group is for all adults regardless of ability or climbing experience.

Our Mission
Unite the southern Connecticut climbing scene, help new climbers get started in a non-intimidating environment and to coordinate fun climbing opportunities for the community - indoors and out.

Once completed, you'll be certified to belay on your own and take turns belaying members of our group. It's simple, super fun, and makes you a contributing member of our climbing group. EXPERIENCED CLIMBERS - BELAY CERTIFICATION Top rope climbing does require certification at any indoor climbing facility. If you're already certified at RCF, you're all set! If you know how to belay but this is your first time climbing at RCF you'll be asked to complete a simple belay test. Arrive a few minutes early if possible to take your free belay test.

Women's Only Rock Climbing Meetup (Monday's)

Rock Climb Fairfield

Women’s Monday Night Rock Climbing Our objective is to get female climbers of all climbing abilities and experience levels together to motivate each other, create climbing friendships and have fun! Our group is welcoming to all climbers who identify as female. This is not an instructional group or a guide service. We exist to organize and facilitate meeting times and places for independent women climbers to meet each other and climb together. Therefore, every climber assumes responsibility for their own safety. That said, we want to encourage this as a space to meet new climbing partners/mentors and to develop a new women’s climbing community at Rock Climb Fairfield. We love our male climbing partners, but we find an all-female environment can give encouragement and like mindedness that you don't always get from mixed company. First time? (1) Please sign the RCF Waiver at http://www.rockclimbfairfield.com/waiver (2) Please RSVP to this Meetup (3) Come Climbing! Just ask for to be introduced to the organizer when you check in at the front desk. What to Wear Whatever you are comfortable to work out in. Non-restrictive and reasonable length tops and bottoms (you don't want to have to fight with the harness to keep yourself covered up!) Details Monday Night 7:30 pm $16 admission (regularly $20) + $2 per item of gear rental, if you have your own equipment please bring it along!
