Photoshop Hands-On Workshop
A Refresher of Basic Principles and Exploration of New Features
With Hazel Meredith, APSA, HonNEC Meredith Images
Saturday, January 28,[masked] a.m. – 2 p.m. Somerset Public Library 1464 County St, Somerset, MA 02726
Join me for a hands-on workshop with laptops as we review some of the basic – but important – features of Photoshop such as layer, masking, selections, adjustment layers, smart objects and more.
We’ll move on to projects that will show you how to apply various effects and filters to your images, using gradients, displacement maps, shapes, type and textures, and create your own word art from your image.
We’ll finish up with trying out the newer features of Photoshop such as sky replacement and neural filters and create your own signature watermark.
I will supply images and detailed notes so we’ll all be working on the same projects. Karl Zuzarte, MNEC, will be on location to assist everyone.
Minimum 8 – Maximum 20
$49 per person (if we have 12 or more attendees $39 per person) If you sign up at $49 and we get 12 attendees, I will refund you $10
If minimum of 8 is not met by Jan. 5th, event will be cancelled and fees paid will be refunded.

Minimalist Photography with Judy Hancock Holland

Needs a location

Minimalist photography involves seeing deeply into your subject. By allowing yourself to be captured by your subject, instead of the other way around, you can distill it down to its essence and present the image in a way that is uniquely yours. Join us to learn a new way to create images that convey not just what you see, but how you feel.
