The BIC Gaming Club

Business Innovation Center

Join the BIC Gaming Club and be prepared for lots of fun and laughter with friends. We explore many games including many found on STEAM or Xbox. Bring your laptop or Xbox and if you do not have one let us know in advance and we can arrange access to a device to play on. The BIC Virtual Reality lounge is also available to all BIC Gaming Club members during club hours. The Gaming club meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 1 pm until 5 pm. We manage a Minecraft server that is available to members at our monthly meeting and throughout the month. Please be advised that Minecraft requires signing up for a user account (it may include a one-time registration fee with Minecraft if you don’t already have an account). There are many board games to enjoy, and we have our very own Chess Player Expert, this young man is always happy to share his knowledge and passion for chess with any new player that shows interest. The BIC Gaming Club is a wonderful activity that promotes learning and helps further develop social skills. Each session has a "Golden Nugget" learning segment where members are asked to share a video or presentation related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics (STEAM). This is a self-run club where members learn leadership and teamwork. Parents, this is a great opportunity to have a couple of hours of R&R, but of course, you are always welcomed to join in the fun and be a kid again. There is no charge for first-time visitors, however, after the first visit the Gaming Club respectfully asks for a $10 donation per session, this helps to offset the costs of pizza, snacks, refreshments, and of course server costs. We hope you can join us! To stay updated on all the cool events happening at the BIC go to Businessinnovation.center (http://businessinnovation.center/) and sign up for our Newsletter!!
