What we're about
Family Rights of Central Ohio is about lending support to parents in need of guidance while engaged in a custody battle, caught in the never-ending vortex of the Child Support System, monitoring custody laws and pending legislation, and monitoring and reporting biased and unfair domestic judges.
We hold meetings in order to gather in person, and often invite our State elected officials including State Legislators and judges to address our group, along with private practice attorneys who specialize in family and divorce laws.
We utilize all forms of media; print, broadcast and social media to spread help to others in need, and to expose discovered errors in our laws, and wrongdoings (“Abuse of Discretion”) by our courts.
We lend support to elected officials, including judges and legislators who demonstrate true understanding and application of Ohio’s laws. We work diligently towards the defeat of current elected officials and judges during their next election cycle when they have shown a propensity to allow personal biases to influence their rulings or political actions. Certainly “Legislating From The Bench” rises to this level.
We organize public and member support attendance for parents needing to make a strong showing during court hearings.
Our members can schedule their own events which are related to our mission, and thereby invite all of our members to attend. This can be especially useful for members in the outlaying counties (for example Licking or Delaware, or any other Ohio location) where members would like to form sub-groups within our larger group in order to focus on a specific county or set of elected officials.
Our “Discussions” section offers our group a place to conduct forums to talk about important topics.
Join us if you are facing a custody battle, are caught in an on-going battle over your children, or are concerned about the damage which these issues can do to our children.
We CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF WE STAND TOGETHER. To quote one of our Founding Fathers: "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." At the signing of the Declaration of Independence by Benjamin Franklin, realizing our fledgling new nation was facing the wrath of King George.
Join us to find help, make new friends and colleagues, and to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
