Are you over weight, but still want to get out and hike? This is the group for you. Our goal is to help motivate ourselves and others to get up, get out of the house and get back to nature a mile or two at a time. I am a 350 pound fat man looking to find others in similar situations that want to better themselves by working into longer, more challenging hikes. We will be starting slow and progressing as our stamina and health improve. By doing this in a group setting, we add some individual accountability which should help motivate each of us to attend and participate in frequent outings.
