Rainier Beach Overlook to Pritchard Beach (Jane's Walk)

This Jane’s Walk is a bit farther than last year's with a big old steep hill to climb if you do the whole 4.5 mile round trip. We will meet at 57th Ave S and S Ryan St at 12 noon on Sunday May 4th. There is good parking here, but please feel free to walk/bus to meeting place if possible Great view of the lake, Seward Park, Downtown, and loads of mountains (on a clear day). Not up for climbing the big hill? Meet us at Emerson School Playground Hutchinson Park at 59th Ave S and S Pilgrim St by 12:30. We will wander around the neighborhood and down the hill, visit the Atlantic City Boat Dock, walk through Beer Sheva Park, and can check in to look at the construction work that is happening around there (where there are rest rooms) and then head north to the lovely PRITCHARD BEACH! While walking, interested parties may want to discuss enjoying lunch together on our way back through the commercial district. We have Maya’s Mexican and Hong Kong Seafood and also a new coffee shop South End Espresso.
