Better Balance
Better balance. Sometimes as we get older staying upright and moving around isn't so easy. These classes are designed to help you feel more grounded and stable, whilst remaining flexible. Come and try it out. This is the first of a series of 10. Each lesson stands alone, but if you do all of them you'll get more out of it. There's a special price if you sign up for 10 lessons in advance- please get in touch, and I'll tell you more. This class is for people of all ages and abilities. New students are always welcome, just RSVP. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, and layers to keep warm. Bring a mat if you have one, though I have spares. This class is part of a series- you can join us at any point though- each lesson stands on its own. Read the What Happens in a Lesson page to find out what to expect in a class. Contact me for more information. Please let me know if you have any physical problems/issues before the class. I am a fully certified and insured Feldenkrais Method® practitioner and a member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK (the UK professional body). I am also on the Board of the Feldenkrais Guild UK. What we're about

Join us if you would like to improve your posture, or the way you move.

This is a group for people of any age or ability who wish to improve their movement, whether recovering from injury, to improve performance, lower anxiety, or simply to explore oneself in a more mindful way.

Feldenkrais is a movement method, which connects the nervous system and brain more clearly to change our movement and postural habits in an easy way. Through a whole variety of lessons we explore the different parts of the body, movement patterns and how we can change our habits to move more easily, and carry ourselves better.

Each lesson is 50 minutes and concentrates on feeling the self as you move- a sort of Mindfulness in Motion.

Classes are run in Central and North London by Emma Alter and Ed Bartram: two qualified and insured Feldenkrais Practitioners.
