Join us if you would like to improve your posture, or the way you move.

This is a group for people of any age or ability who wish to improve their movement, whether recovering from injury, to improve performance, lower anxiety, or simply to explore oneself in a more mindful way.

Feldenkrais is a movement method, which connects the nervous system and brain more clearly to change our movement and postural habits in an easy way. Through a whole variety of lessons we explore the different parts of the body,movement patterns and how we can change our habits to move more easily, and carry ourselves better.

Each lesson is 50 minutes to an hour, and concentrates on feeling the self as you move- a sort of Mindfulness in Motion. We explore a range of movements, and how that can help us move better and more easily. For more about what to expect in a class, visit this page:

Classes are run in Central and North London by Emma Alter, a qualified and insured Feldenkrais Practitioner.

An ONLINE Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement Class for mid-week! You can join us from the comfort of your living room. Enjoy the benefit of a group class whilst physically distancing yourself... The pace of the class is accessible to all. Each lesson takes apart and reassembles a movement we do in everyday in order to make it easier and more enjoyable. We use awareness as a tool to work out our movement habits, which ones no longer serve us well, and how to find new resources to move better.
