This is a group for people of any age or ability who wish to improve their movement, whether recovering from injury, to improve performance, lower anxiety, or simply to explore oneself in a more mindful way.
Feldenkrais is a movement method, which connects the nervous system and brain more clearly to change our movement and postural habits in an easy way. Through a whole variety of lessons we explore the different parts of the body,movement patterns and how we can change our habits to move more easily, and carry ourselves better.
Each lesson is 50 minutes to an hour, and concentrates on feeling the self as you move- a sort of Mindfulness in Motion. We explore a range of movements, and how that can help us move better and more easily. For more about what to expect in a class, visit this page:
