TALK 1: Being the Agile Leader
The fast paced world we live in means continuous,rapid change. Our success depends on our ability to navigate it.

In this presentation, Emma will share her experience navigating change from her career as a naval officer to being a business owner. Emma will share myths that are still considered 'best practice', and how to break them to lead effective change using an agile approach.

About the speaker:

Emma Sharrock - Agile Change Coach & Facilitator, Swinburne University

Emma is an Agile consultant, coach and facilitator with over 20 years experience leading change in a number of industries including defence, finance, transport, construction and media. She is the author of The Agile Project Manager and High Performance Executive Leadership. Emma works with leaders and teams to improve the way they work using agile mindset and methods.

TALK 2: No change, no progress
A reliving of the personal transformations one can go through. Friska shares her story of resilience, why she’s a passionate change leader and what she wishes she knew 10 years ago about work, life and everything in between.

About the speaker:

Friska Wirya - Change Lead, University of Melbourne

Friska has been a transformation and change leader for nearly a decade. She headed up change at Newcrest Mining, the largest global gold miner on the ASX. She previously led change for the digital transformation, part of a top-performing team of world-class IT & Digital experts.

A lifelong learner and self-confessed geek, her communications flair and effectiveness at managing the people-side of change has proven to be a compelling cost mitigation and productivity boosting strategy.
