All kinds of makers are welcome, whether they work with electronics, yarn, words, music, fabric, video cameras, computer code, colored pencils – almost anything. Really. If you want to try new things, acquire new skills, encounter new technologies and art forms, and meet people who share your creative impulses, the Makerspace will be a great place for you.
Now that NASA has landed another vehicle on the surface of Mars, it's time to use the magic of VR to experience the wonders of space. Use the library's VR headsets to experience what it's like to leave the Earth behind. Ages 10 to adult. No registration required.
This 4-week, highly interactive course will provide all the necessary tools for the beginning podcaster, and challenge those with experience, to make their podcasts better.
You will learn about equipment, show creation and episode construction, the audience, programming and interview concepts, editing, posting, distribution, and marketing. You will spend lab time working on your ideas and getting your concerns addressed.
