What we're about
Having suffered from Fibromyalgia for over nine years I have found a huge need for face to face real human support from others who also suffer from Fibromyalgia. There is not one specific Fibromyalgia group within the Carroll County area. Depending on the outcome of our first couple meetings we will be changing this tragedy. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2006 (but was diagnosed correctly after three years of misdiagnoses), and I have been on a mission of research, knowledge and awareness eversince and most importantly to share all I have learned. As we kno.w Fibromyalgia is not a curable disease, however we have learned Fibromyalgia's symptoms can actually be eliminated through using holistic approaches. This is incredible news for all those suffering. I feel as if I have unlocked the gates of heaven, and I would like to share my journey with you. I refuse to allow Fibromyalgia to ruin my life any further. I have read hundreds of books and seen many, many documentaries, read articles and medical journals, gone to seminars, participated in online seminars and informative classes, concerning these illnesses and concerns of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain Syndrome, Western Medicine v/s Eastern Medicine, Holistic Practices of many forms in the help of eliminating and healing the diseases as well as Nutrition and how nutrition factors into your symptoms. I would say after nine years I am extremely knowledgeable within these fields. I am also the creator and administrator of another support group and have many new and exciting groups in the works. Even though Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Syndromes are not very well known within the public as well as within the medical fields we are learning more and more every day. We would love if you participated in our excitement in all that has been learned. It would be my pleasure in sharing all I know and help you to eliminate your symptoms. Please come and sit back and enjoy our group! The purpose of the group is to offer face to face support, knowledge, years of research, trial and error within eliminating symptoms with success. The group will provide exciting information, learning, sharing, and teaching our loved ones how to deal with our illness and compassion within Chronic Pain and the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Everyone who has Fibromyalgia should attend this insightful meeting as well as family members, loved ones and care givers. Anyone curious about the disease that may be doing research may also attend. Be well and we hope to see you at the "Meetup".
