What we're about
Life is short.....so why not live it to the fullest everyday.... This group caters to the smart, witty, charming gals in the DMV area who are looking to meet other fierce and fab women for a laid back, fun environment to form true bonds over time. We will spend our time getting to know each other at chic lounges, spas, movies, top 100 restaurants in the DMV, outdoor events, concerts, fitness events, vacations, day trips and many more....please feel free to join us, if this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of. Our group is kept small in number of members purposefully to allow us to get to know each other well. We periodically open the group to new members on a quarterly basis as non-participating or non-paying members get removed from the group.
$5 annual dues are due on July 31st of each year, or 30 days after joining the group, whichever comes first. Meetup.com team will automatically remove members who do not adhere to this requirement as per group guidelines.
* Each member is expected to attend a meetup event every 2-3 months, and be an active participant in group discussions. A minimum of 4 events a year is expected.
* Each member is requested to host an event at least once a year, this is a suggestion, not a requirement. This meetup is meant to be a cooperative community where we can share our thoughts, support each other and develop true bonds with one another. Hosting a meetup will give you a new perspective, and sense of ownership to the group.
* Member participation will be reviewed twice a year; inactive members will be asked to leave the group. We value quality over quantity in this group, so having a large membership is of no importance here.
* RSVPs are expected to be updated respectfully (in a timely fashion) to allow other members to attend an event, especially for events with limited spots. It is expected that the moment you decide not to attend an event that you had previously RSVP'd for, you will make every effort to notify the event host and/or update your RSVP status. It's the cordial and polite thing to do.
Abiding by these basic guidelines shows respect for all members of the group, and affirms your commitment to forming lasting bonds with the women in this group.
Looking forward to meeting you soon!!
