This group is for artists who want a reliable place to draw and paint from the human figure in a welcoming, focused environment. We host Quick Sketch sessions with the nude model, longer sustained pose sessions, and occasional clothed portrait sessions.
Most sessions are designed for artists working independently — bring your sketchbook, pencils, charcoal, or paint and work at your own pace. The goal is simple: good models, good light, and a focused, friendly room.
Sessions typically include:

Free parking
Warm single-form lighting on the model
Easels, drawing boards, and tray tables
Coffee and water

Summer 2026 sessions are being held at our interim studio in Rosemont, NJ. Fall location is being finalized — check the website or watch this page for updates.
Because this group is connected to an active art school, you may occasionally see class announcements — but most events are open figure-drawing sessions for independent artists.
