Welcome to our second session back in-person!
This event is a special one designed to give you more options. The event is a two-part drawing and painting session, with short model poses from 12pm-3pm, a break from 3pm-3:30pm, and a long pose from 3:30pm-6:30pm. Come for one session for $20, or stay the whole time for $25.

You get three to six full hours of drawing and painting from a professional nude model, in an incredible creative space, amidst other drawing and art lovers. Enjoy snacks and drinks, meet some new people, make awesome artwork!
All levels are welcome, beginners are in good company and encouraged to attend, no pressure and no judgements! This is an uninstructed session open to anyone new or advanced, no need for prior experience drawing the figure. It's a relaxed and friendly group, you can be social or lay low. There's plenty of space to bring a friend along, or fly solo and throw yourself into the creative abyss...
The session will be held in the main lobby gallery-- follow signs when you arrive. It's a mellow yet professional atmosphere. Noelle Timmons monitors the session, she's a resident artist at PS109 and works and teaches continuing ed at NYAA. COVID UPDATE: RSVP's and advance payment now required for entry. Come by and enjoy yourself, be inspired, listen to good music, leave full with your artsy soul and creative spirit nourished and enlivened.
Model poses consist of 20 minutes on and 5 minutes break, with one 20 min long break half-way through the night. Please enter quietly if you happen to arrive late, we start immediately at 5pm. -Absolutely no photography of the model permitted, photos/cell phones to be used discretely (and again, photographing the model is never tolerated). RSVP's a must & purchase tickets before, payment details below.
What to bring
Bring your drawing pad and other art materials, both drawing and painting are permitted. Please clean your station when you leave. Chairs are provided, but you can bring your own collapsible easel if you own one. Small snacks, sometimes wine provided, you are welcome to bring snacks/drinks to share if you're feeling flush, smiles and creativity if not :)
