Are you a fan of classic films like The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca? Would you like to discuss them with other film fanatics? Then this is the group for you!
We meet monthly to discuss one of the top 100 films of all time (based on the "Top 100 Movies of All Time" list at davesmoviedatabase.com). Please note: We do not watch the movies together. Participants watch the movies on their own.
Also: there is a waiting list for the group so members are not automatically approved. However, that also means that I regularly purge inactive members (generally those who haven't attended for five months or more) to make room for new people.

Discussion: Terminator 2
Merriam Plaza Library, 6120 Slater Street, Merriam, KS, USJoin us to Terminator 2: Judgment Day (#82 on our top 100 movie list). Set 11 years after the original film (released in 1984), this 1991 sci-fi/action film from director James Cameron saw Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reprise their roles from the original - except Arnie is now a good guy protecting Edward Furlong from Robert Patrick. The movie was praised for its action and special effects. Read more about the movie here.
