  • If all goes well, we'll be in the back meeting room.
  • Please bring 5 copies of your work (up to 1500 words), 12 pt font, double-spaced, pages numbered, to group along with something to write with.

We do read silently, but an author is allowed to read the first few paragraphs or first page of their work aloud if he or she would like. Also, if you are working on a novel and are not submitting the first pages, you may want to give the group some background.

All writers are invited to give a little background on their story if they'd like.  If you'd like, you can include a paragraph synopsis of your work or a summary of previous chapters or happenings along with your submission.

This group is for adults, ages 18+.

(P.S. We do read silently to ourselves for at least 12-15 minutes for each author. So when you come to group please bring something with you to do for when it's your turn, if you think you may grow bored waiting.  For example: a book to read, a quiet game to play, or take the time to order food or drink.)
