Ryan Daigle, former tech executive and Principal of Flywheel Equity: Ever wonder how every single multifamily syndication can show a 15% IRR to investors? Presenter Bio:

Ryan Daigle, Principal of Flywheel Equity, lives in the Raleigh-Durham area and is a twenty year veteran of the software industry, having worked for a variety of startups and small consultancies.

His last role was as CTO of Durham-based fintech startup, which he saw grow from 3 employees to 80 during his 6 years there.
After Ryan grew disenchanted with the returns on his 401K and stock portfolios, he started looking for alternative investment approaches and discovered real estate. After a single BRRRR style residential investment he quickly turned to multifamily real estate for its economies of scale and long term demographic support.

As a full time multifamily operator, he is now an LP in over 700 units and GP/owner in 80, with his most recent acquisition being a 51-unit heavy value-add in Greensboro, NC. Ryan brings the same transparent, process-oriented, technology-centric approach to managing multifamily partnerships at Flywheel Equity that served him so well in tech and believes that real estate is an ideal investment tool for high-wage technology workers.
