Like many fields in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, blockchain is an area run mainly by men.

There is nothing wrong with this but technology is used by all, so the more diversity we have in these fields, especially blockchain, the future of the internet and digital money exchange, the better.

Which is why, in conjunction with Geek Girls - a charity that supports untapped female STEM talent, Pillar Project Worldwide, a company I now work with, are putting on a one-off event called - ‘Blockchain, Babes & Bitcoins’

Everyone is invited but there will be a feminine touch, in which only women will be presenting from the stage.

So, with that being said, if you are a woman interested in getting into tech and/or investing in crypto or who is already in tech and/or investing then come along and bring a friend!
