New Decade, New Money: Plan for the Unexpected w/o Sabotaging Your Vision Board

We’re kicking off the new year--and new decade--with a night that’s all about getting your financial foundations set so you can spend the next 10 years growing instead of worrying.

Yep, we’re talking about money goals, setting personal deadlines to achieve them, and determining what pesky obstacles will inevitably try to get in your way as you work to reach them.

Just like our hugely successful event in October, the evening will begin with casual drinks and appetizers and mingling, followed by a candid and interactive group conversation, moderated by myWorth’s Ande Frazier.

Ande has spent the last 20 years working with women across the nation to help them plan, grow, and protect what they’ve built. Now, as the CEO of myWorth, she’s focused on bringing communities of local women together to talk about one of the most taboo topics out there: money.

7:15 - 8:15 p.m.
We’ll head up to the 4th floor screening room for conversations about money.

With just a month before she releases her first book ever, Fina(ncia)lly Free, Ande will take us on a guided tour of the financial conversations we need to be having with ourselves and each other as we enter the new decade:

• Set 3 financial goals you’d like to achieve and your personal deadline for achieving them

• Planning for the unexpected (without sabotaging your vision board): Predict what will inevitably get in the way of achieving your goals and how to prepare for those things (without interfering with your plans of what you actually want to happen).

• Taking action now, not because you were told “you should,” but because you’ve made a conscious decision that it’s right for you in a way

• The Now, Next and Later: How to do all those while still living in the now.
