Cumbiatón: Womxn of Cumbia [Echo Park, LA]

Let’s get our Cumbia on, ladies! This is a combination of live and DJ music by Latina artists at the fun Echoplex. Start the weekend off right!

For those interested in meeting for a quick and inexpensive dinner, we’ll get together at Señor Fish (1701 Sunset, at Logan) at 7 PM in advance of the show. People coming later can join us at the club.

Cumbiatón Los Angeles takes over the Echoplex for their second annual Womxn of Cumbia event! In honor of Womxn's History Month, Cumbiatón brings together hundreds of cumbia lovers under one roof to celebrate the deep roots of Cumbia and pay homage to all the Womxn who continue to propel the tropical music scene forward. Per usual, they will have vendors selling artisanal goodies so make sure to bring some cash and see you on the dance floor!
