Can you feel it? 2022 is YEARNING for more Tips & Tricks, and we're here to deliver!

In this session Antti Rintala tells a tale of horrors and victories from the trenches, battling with Kubernetes, Windows Containers and IIS.

Basic structure of the presentation:

  • Setting the scene
  • Crafting the Dockerfile
  • Argo CI/CD (no docker-in-docker for windows containers)
  • IIS runtime in AKS
  • Recap (dos and don'ts)

The presentation can be seen at https://zure.ly/faug/virtual - this short link will be updated to always point to the next presentation, and the direct link will also be updated in this event.

If you're not familiar with it yet, the Virtual Azure Tips & Tricks presentations are roughly 30 to 60 minute virtual presentations, mostly presented live, with opportunities to ask questions, through a streaming service near you (such as Teams, Youtube, or the like, depending on the presenter). The presentation is always done by a different presenter, with a topic that's dear to the presenter.

The presentations will be captured and uploaded to FAUG Youtube at a later date, so do not worry if you miss the live show. Our Youtube channel can be found from https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjnpiQDuc4cO3vDoCrnynFw

If you, or any of your colleagues or friends wants to give a presentation, please let us know and we'll set up a time slot. It doesn't matter if you're a new face in the community or a regular participant, just come show us something you've learned!
