Learn how to swing dance with the First Coast Blues and Lindy Society from instructors that travel to study around the state and country. We're offering beginner Lindy Hop lessons at Club Savoy II (the small room) concentrating on Lindy Hop and the fundamentals of partner dancing.
When:
Each and every Thursday, every month, from 7:30-8:30pm. Our four class series starts on the first Thursday of the month and progresses with one class each week that builds on the prior lessons.
Cost:
$10 per person, per class or $32 if you pay for the whole four week series at the beginning of the month. Included is 1 hour of DJed practice time from 9:30-10:30pm where the instructors can help you practice your cool new moves.
What you will learn:
Lindy Hop from the basic steps and up for people just learning partner dancing.
What to wear:
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Jeans or active wear and flat shoes (like Keds or Chucks) or suede soled dance shoes.
