Free Combat Fitness/Kickboxing class with free food after!

  • to
  • St Thomas of Aquins school

    2-20 Chalmers St, EH3 9ES., Edinburgh (map)

    55.943550 -3.197660

  • Lauriston Gardens entrance, walk diagonally right through double doors, turn right. Chalmers St entrance, walk diagonally left, through the doors at end, down the stairs, take a right and follow the corridor round to the right.
  • New to group? - It will be an introduction to kickboxing and our unique combat inspired fitness. It will assume no prior fitness level and be suitable for everyone. All you need is comfortable clothes and trainers.

Been before? Quite a lot has changed so definitely worth checking out again.

There is a free, private car park accessed via Lauriston gardens (closes 9.45pm) and there are changing rooms, toilets, showers and a water fountain.

Plan is to meet at 7.45pm inside the school.  I will send directions and further details the day before to those who RSVP YES. Straight after class at 9.20pm everyone will go along to Malones Bar on Forrest Road (few minutes walk or can park outside for free too) where they will reserve tables, provide free food and very cheap drinks for us.  It is very casual and it's great to socialise and meet everyone else in the group after class. Although there are showers (and you are welcome to use them), most people just goes as they are as it's a very relaxed atmosphere. You don't have to stay long of course, even 30 minutes fine.   If you can't make it you are welcome to come to just the class.

Bring friends (can work together and there's a reward if you do) but it's equally fine on your own too.

You’ll have the opportunity to socialise with about 25 (additional from the meetup RSVP total) people during and after the class. There's around 150 active members training each week in the club.

What you see on meetup is just a tiny fraction of everything going on as we have lots of other classes and lots of social events but we invite people this event first where we will tell you about everything else going on. All spaces will go so RSVP YES now to avoid disappointment.
