What we're about

Flathead Writers is the first Chapter of The Wordsmiths Collective. Also, check out the meetup group for The Wordsmith Collective (https://www.meetup.com/wordsmithcollective/).

We are a group of local writers dedicated to helping you start, grow and succeed as a writer. Our chapter activities are centered around making us all better writers, better marketers, and better business people.

We don't define success because it looks different to different people. Whatever success looks like to you we want to help you get there, while you help us.

We are inclusive regardless of what you write or the level at which you write. Whether you write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, short stories, children's books, Cookbooks or ... well, you get the idea. It doesn't matter if you haven't written a word or you have published several books everyone is welcome.

We are designed around collaboration and coaction. The Wordsmith Collective is built on the principle that a writer anywhere can help other writers everywhere. From your first paragraph to publication and beyond we are there.

Activities include, write-ins, social events, organized group critique sessions, workshops and lectures on the craft and business of writing. maybe even retreats or conferences.
