Weekly Canon Shooter Photo Showcase

Details
The Online Photo Challenges were created as a way to encourage our members to shoot more photos and to post them online to share with other members. The sharing of photos encourages members to get out and shoot. The optional posting of comments also helps members improve their photography, learn new techniques and learn about new locations to photograph.
You have an entire week to post images to the challenge (until the next challenge posts next Monday). You do not need to post to leave comments about the photos. Critiques are also welcome but please be gentle in you criticism, so that members of all skill levels will feel comfortable participating.
Please RSVP for the showcases, so we can better judge the popularity of this type of offering. It's important for us to measure the number of members we are helping and RSVP's are an important metric.
A photo gallery will be automatically created about an hour after the start of the "showcase" for everyone to post their best photos made with Canon Camera. Any Canon camera, dSLR, point-n-shoot etc. This is not judged and there are no prizes or awards. Please post your comments to the photos in the gallery and be respectful of your fellow members. You do not need to submit or post a photo to leave comments or share your thoughts.
There is also a Nikon showcase being created every Monday, so get out there all you Canon shooters and post your best stuff. Don't let all those Nikon shooters show you up ;-)
This "event" takes place every Monday to encourage everyone to go out and practice their photography. The bottom line is the more you shoot, the better you get. The better you get, the more fun photography becomes. The more fun photography is, the more you shoot. The more you shoot, the better you get . . . you get the picture (no pun intended). This is a repeating cycle and a great way to improve your photography
