Birds on a Budget

Details

This class will explore the question “Is it possible to make great bird photos without spending thousands of dollars on equipment, or traveling to distant exotic locations?”

Join us in an opportunity to learn how to improve the quality of your bird photography.

The class will explore everything needed for successful bird photography including
Equipment: cameras, lenses, tripods and other accessories
Camera settings: f/stops, shutter speeds, ISO, focus patterns, drive settings
Basic Techniques for photographing birds
Lighting: direction, quality, time of day, adding light
Knowledge of Birds: finding them, approaching them, bird resources about birds

It will be illustrated with many of my photographs of birds at rest, in action, and in flight, in both solo and group images.
