Beginning Birding – Including Bird ID, Equipment, Binoculars and Much More

This is the second of 2 classes.

Learning to bird can be a daunting challenge when you attempt to learn it on your own. This is only the second time in the last 12 years I’ve taught this class. The class has been updated and will include information on bird identification, binoculars, spotting scopes, apps, guide books and much more.

This class is fairly formal and will rely heavily on Keynote (PowerPoint) presentation through our digital projector. The classes will be recorded for later download by the students, but it will not be streamed.

The cost for 4 hours of classes is $25. It may be paid via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App and Apple Cash/Pay. Please contact instructor at FCCP_Director@me.com for payment instructions. FCCP membership is not eligible for any discounts because the nature of these classes are beyond the scope of the photography group and the directors duty.

Following the classes will be an optional lunch at O’Keefe’s in Clearwater. There is no required food or beverage purchase.

Jeff Donald has birded on 5 continents including some of the top birding spots in the world, including Churchill, Cape May, Everglades, Point Peleé, Hawk Mountain, Bosque del Apache, Cheyenne Bottoms, Belize, Kenya, Tanzania, Philippines, Japan, and many other locals.
