FCCP 2022 Virtual Photo Challenge 2. Take A Photo a Day for 10 Days

Details
Our Director, Jeff Donald previously posted this Event in 2012. Please read the full Description, before you RSVP.
SPECIAL NOTE: you must sign up before the start date to take part in this challenge.
Become a better photographer in 2022!
Make a commitment to your photography today.
For some of us, just getting out with a camera is a lot of work. Well, it's not really a lot of work, but work, school, kids, apathy, excuses, or forgetfulness can get in the way. Remembering to plug in the battery each night, remembering to take our camera (at least a point-n-shoot) with us when we go out, or remembering to take a photo even if a camera is handy, that's the hard part.
This Virtual Challenge is designed to potentially set in motion a series of good habits, or at least a habit that an aspiring photographer wishes to have, to take a lot of photos and do it on a daily basis. To do this, we need to be comfortable with our equipment, its use and settings. This challenge isn't so much about taking a "great" shot, but more about making the effort to actually take a shot on a regular basis.
INSTRUCTIONS:
To take part in this challenge you must sign up before the start date and commit to take at least one photo each day, for 10 days beginning at 9am on February 16. That's one photo each day during the period between the start and the end dates of this challenge.
You can take the photos from any location that you choose, work, home, school, your backyard, Neighborhood Park, anywhere, etc. The location is not as important as making the effort to make a photo every day.
You must post a single image for each day of the challenge. You can post the image after the date you took the photo, but if you do, you must state in the Caption the actual date the photo was taken (with your camera). No other photos are allowed. One photo per day only. There are no restrictions on what to shoot, or how you produce your images.
HOW IT WORKS:
You must sign up to participate before the start date of the challenge.
Your own personal challenge starts when you RSVP to join us on the challenge. You commit to taking at least one photo each day between the start and end dates of the challenge. You must post exactly 10 photos to the designated album for the challenge, one photo per day (if you cannot post the photo on the day you took it, you can post your image later only if you mention the date you actually took the photo in the caption of the image you upload).
All group members are encouraged to enjoy the photos that are posted by the participants of this challenge and add comments of encouragement and appreciation.
Here is an example from a previous Challenge ( http://oneaday-1.blogspot.com/ ) to get you thinking. Note: All these photos were taken with a $150 14MP Nikon S6000 Point and Shoot Camera.
REMEMBER:
We will NOT meet in person because this is a VIRTUAL challenge. However, you may use any photos taken on FCCP Photo Walks during this period. There will be no judging and no prizes. If you sign up for the challenge, you are making a personal agreement with yourself to take photos and then post your best photos as laid out in the instructions.
NOTE:
If you miss the start date and cannot RSVP, then you must wait for the next challenge... if there's a good response, we'll hold another "photo a day" challenge again in the near future. Ideally, it would be great to see over 100 members commit to the concept of improving their photography by taking a least one photo a day.
LASTLY: Have Fun!!!!

Where you buy your gear matters. You expect to get what you ordered and you want to pay a low price for it. The retailers Jeff recommends below are the ones he trusts for his own purchases.
