We will meet at Honeymoon Island and explore our "wild" side. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The trip will not be strenuous but may involve walking distances of two to three miles. We'll hike around the Osprey Trail and may see Bald Eagles, Great horned Owls and other great birds. Insects can be very quite thick and insect repellant is highly recommended. This time of year we may get to see nesting Great Horned Owls and also Bald Eagles. There is an admission fee of $4 for single occupant vehicles and $8 for multiple occupant vehicles.
We will go for an optional lunch at a local restaurant afterwards.
