The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Sisters in Crime is pleased to announce the featured speaker at the July 10, 2021 monthly meeting will be J.J. Hensley, a former police officer and former Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service.

J.J. HENSLEY is a former police officer and former Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. He is the author of the novels Resolve, Bolt Action Remedy, Record Scratch, Forgiveness Dies, and The Better of the Bad. He resides near Savannah, Georgia.

During his time in the U.S. Secret Service, Hensley conducted criminal investigations, coordinated threat cases, and worked countless protective assignments. Throughout this discussion, he will explain the realities of working as a Secret Service agent and how works of fiction get nearly every aspect wrong.

NOTE: All virtual and in-person chapter meetings are open to the public. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect for seating and meeting materials, if any.
