The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Sisters in Crime is pleased to announce the featured speaker at the April 2022 meeting will be author Julieanna Blackwell.

A writer of short stories and essays, Julieanna Blackwell's work has appeared in Lunch Ticket, Literary Orphans, Slippery Elm Literary Journal, MoonPark Review, and elsewhere. The Naples Daily News published her humorous column of personal essays. She is also the Flash Fiction Editor for the award-winning 805Lit. She developed and leads Elements & Arcs writing classes and workshops, which are designed for the adult library patron interested in learning more about creative writing.

This hybrid in-person and online Zoom event will be held at the Braden River Branch Library, 4915 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203 from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. There will be a member lunch following the meeting at Gecko's Grill and Pub, 7228 55th Ave E, Bradenton.
