In this Office 365 session, we will explore Azure AD and how it differs from the corporate Active Directory we have come to know and love these many years. We will dive into the inner workings of how the federated partnership between your on-premise Active Directory and Azure AD actually works. Federation uses claims-based authentication instead of Kerberos, so how do the two interplay with each other to provide SSO for users connecting to Microsoft cloud services? We will also explore the requirements for federation as well as tools to help in its implementation and support.
