Scrub-Jay Trail Guided Tour

A free guided tour is offered on the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to introduce you to the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail.

Get to know the history of the Florida Scrub-Jay, where it is, and where it is going if we do not protect and restore its habitat. Learn what scrub habitat is and find out the birds and wildlife, insects and plants, that live in this special habitat.

The Florida Scrub-Jays are curious birds that are on many "Life Lists." People come from all over the world to see Florida's only endemic bird. Take an active or passive role in restoring their habitat as we walk, view, and dig into the ground, and learn how we are restoring the trail.
