Project: Project involves some annual trail maintenance, some new trail construction and reconstruction in the Choctawhatchee River Section (CRS)Nokuse Plantation and Northwest Florida Water Management land segments of the Florida National Scenic Trail in Walton County. This project should complete the trail from Hwy 20 Choctawhatchee bridge to Hwy 81 Seven Runs.

Workdays: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
We will be camping at Pine Log State Forest, the Sand Pond Campground. Both tent camping and RV camping is available.
Tent Camping: We have the group camp area reserved for Fri, Sat and Sun. The group camp area is free.
RV Campsites: For those wanting water and electric campsites. RV camping is available at the Sand Pond Campground for ($25 per night). Call 850 373 1801 to reserve a campsite.
Meals provided: Volunteers Shirley Hearn and Charlie Crain will be heading up the kitchen crew.
Breakfast on Saturday, and Sunday.
Lunch (packed) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Dinner Friday and Saturday.
Additional details:
There is NO fee to register for this event but DONATION to support the work are always accepted and appreciated.
