To book, please RSVP to this event and comment "I'm going" in the discussion section, along with the language you can teach (for instance (#teachSpanish) and the language you are learning (#learnFrench). === INTRO === Every week, over 250 people from 23+ countries meet at out language exchange to practice a new language and make new friends over a beer. The first thing you will notice when you goto New To Melbourne is the great community atmosphere; people in our group are friendly and helpful and always welcoming of new group members. I hope you can bring a friend and join us for some language practice! :D Our language exchange is free and runs every Thursday night, there's $8 Nachos and $12 parmigianas if you arrive at 6pm and want some dinner ;-) ------------------------------ IMPORTANT! Remember to post the language you speak as a hashtag: #TeachFrench in the comments along with the language you are looking to learn #LearnEnglish. People often look through the comments and contact people so they can meet and swap languages on the night :-) So remember to post your languages! To understand how it works, it's best to come along one night - it's easier than explaining. Place them on your chest with your native language on the right and other languages you are learning on the left. Then go meet people and exchange languages! We're going to see one of the most popular destinations in victoria: The Grampians! If you'd like to join us, you're more than welcome! The Grampians is incredible: enjoy beautiful views and take a hike around one of the most visited national parks in Victoria! New To Melbourne invites you to the beautiful Great Ocean Road!! The Great Ocean Rd is one of the most beautiful trips you can do while in Melbourne, you can see Koalas, Kangaroos, get up close with a Kookaburra for a selfie (people do it! haha) and see the beautiful coastline with new friends. It's a must see if you've never been.
